About Hinge Music:
People always ask us what kind of music we play. We don't really know how to answer that question. We play all kinds. Obviously, our music ends up with a certain "style" that reflects our bands technique; but every one of our songs is very different from another - after all, that was the whole purpose to starting the band. We wanted to play lots of different kinds of music.
We try to keep half of our songs covers of other songs we like, and half of our songs are originals that we write together. Some of them are written by individual members of the band, some of them are written by the entire band working together.
